Help and Support

Need Support? We're Here to Help

At Bridge Hall Primary, we understand that sometimes children and families need extra support — and we're here for you every step of the way. If you have any concerns about your child, there are several ways to get help:

👂 Talk to Us

You can speak to our Welfare Assistant or any member of staff. We’re always happy to help — whether it's about:
📉 Attendance
📚 Homework
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Bullying or friendship worries
Often, a quick conversation is the first and best step to finding a solution.

🤝 Early Help Team Drop-In Sessions

We regularly host Early Help drop-in sessions, where you can chat with an experienced support worker who’s independent of the school.
📅 You can book a session through the School Office - 0161 480 7889

📝 Early Help Assessment

Some of our staff are trained to complete an Early Help Assessment, which can connect you with other services and professionals who can support your family.

👥 Staff Available for Early Help Support:

📧 Rebecca Sinclair – SENCO
✉️ rebecca.sinclair@bridgehall.stockport.sch.uk

📧 Louise Howarth – Welfare Assistant
✉️ louise.howarth@bridgehall.stockport.sch.uk

🛡️ Multi-Agency Safeguarding & Support Hub (MASSH)

MASSH is a team effort between Stockport Council, NHS, Greater Manchester Police, Youth Services, and more — all working together to protect children and young people across our area.

📞 If you're worried that a child is at risk of harm, abuse, or neglect, contact MASSH at 0161 217 6028.
🚨 If a child is in immediate danger, call 999 right away.

As a school, we have a duty of care to report concerns quickly and work with others to keep children safe 💚.
