⚽🏃‍♀️ PE & Sport Funding at Bridge Hall Primary 🏃‍♂️🏅

This year, we’ve received additional government funding to boost Physical Education at Bridge Hall — and we’re making the most of it! Our goal is to enhance our PE curriculum, promote healthy, active lifestyles, and strengthen connections with our wider community. 

🧑‍🏫 Specialist Support with SHAPE

A large portion of our funding has gone towards continuing our partnership with SHAPE, which gives us access to a specialist PE teacher every week.

This partnership helps us:

• ✅ Support staff with professional development in PE

• 🏃 Offer children a wider range of sports and competitions

• 🎯 Run targeted interventions to boost physical literacy and develop gross motor skills

We’ve even increased our investment this year to make an even bigger impact. 

⚽ Specialist Coaches via ESC

 We’ve hired coaches to make lunchtimes safer and more active, run fun physical activity sessions, and lead after-school clubs, including launching our very own football team! 

☀️ Summer Term Enrichment Days

Get ready for exciting sports and activities led by professional athletes!

🚀 Creating Active Schools Project

 We’ve joined this fantastic initiative to get even more physical activity into our school day, helping all our children stay active and healthy!
